DU president, Prof. Wael Mualla, met on 11^th October with members of the Argentine trade delegation visiting Syria from the Salta region. The efforts to support the opening of a Latin American Studies Center at DU and Arab Studies Centers in some Argentine University were overviewed. Discussions also tackled the possibility of cooperating in the Medical field and in graduate programs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The two sides agreed to continue their discussions and communication in anticipation of the prospective visit by a delegation of Syrian businessmen to Argentina.

The Argentine trade delegation is visiting Syria to look into prospects of cooperation with the Salta region.
